These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Schooltoolz products and services. By creating an account or using any Schooltoolz tool, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.
Our tools are intended for use by educators, schools, and school districts. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Students do not create accounts — they access exam sessions through links shared by their teacher.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately. You may not share your account with others or use it on behalf of a third party without our consent.

If you use Schooltoolz in a capacity that involves student data covered by FERPA, you represent that you have the authority to do so under your institution's policies and any applicable law. We act as a data processor on your behalf for student records. See our Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from students (and parents or guardians where required) before using monitoring features. Our tools include a consent screen shown to students at the start of each session — you must not bypass or circumvent it.
Schooltoolz and its tools are our intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our services as described here. You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., exam files).
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, or service interruptions. We recommend not relying solely on Schooltoolz for high-stakes exam integrity.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.
Our services are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schooltoolz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll update the date above and notify account holders by email for material changes. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
